SAP Data Intelligence Cloud: Key Element of Enterprise Data Fabric

SAP has stated that having an enterprise data fabric strategy will empower businesses to pivot quickly to adapt to the fast-evolving global conditions. Forrester mentioned SAP’s “comprehensive data management, data discovery, and data processing capabilities across on-premise and hybrid cloud to support complex data fabric use cases for large enterprises.”

One of the data fabric capabilities from SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) highlighted in the report is the SAP Data Intelligence Cloud. Referencing their experience with the solution, one customer shared:

“All in all, it’s easy to say that we could not have met our requirements without SAP Data Intelligence.”

As the data orchestration layer of SAP BTP, SAP Data Intelligence Cloud offers a comprehensive data management solution, transforming distributed data assets into actionable business insights to accelerate growth and innovation. The solution, which was also recently awarded by TrustRadius, enables data warehouse creation from heterogeneous enterprise data, streamlines IoT data streams management, and facilitates scalable machine learning.

SAP Data Intelligence Cloud’s latest update is focused on enabling customers to rely on trusted data and operationalizing machine learning by connecting and integrating distributed data assets. Aside from ensuring that data pipelines can leverage validation and quality rules, the solution also offers increased integration capabilities needed for a robust data fabric. With its capability to discover and connect data from a single business data fabric, enterprises can optimize business applications to become sustainable, intelligent enterprises.

The Forrester Wave report also emphasized that it is critical for organizations’ embarking in large and complex data fabric implementations to partner with trusted professional services vendors such as Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra, which are all SAP partners.
