His current interests and collaborations include digital transformation, digital maturity, platform businesses, mobile web, and maps: the power hidden in plain sight. Ted is also the coauthor of The Mobile Mind Shift: Engineer Your Business to Win in the Mobile Moment (Groundswell Press, June 2014).

Dr. Thomas Vetter is leading SAP’s C/4 HANA Suite development organization, SAP’s vision for a fourth generation CRM. In his role Thomas is responsible to deliver C/4 HANA as a Suite fully integrated in SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise. From 2011 – 2018 Thomas was head of the global Product Management and Development for Consumer Industries. In Consumer Industries SAP has clustered the solutions for Retail, Consumer Products, Life Science and Wholesale contributing a significant portion of SAP’s overall revenues. After starting in the mainframe R/2 development in 1994, he headed the ERP global development team in the area of Finance and Controlling applications from 1998 and SAP’s India ByDesign cloud offering application development from 2009. Dr. Thomas Vetter is also representing SAP in the „Arbeitskreis Organisation der Schmalenbachgesellschaft“ a respected German non-profit research organization. In this function he has co-authored a number of publications on organizational topics.
